The Scent Marketing Institute will release a new Miami-inspired fragrance at the ScentWorld Expo, taking place December 7-9th at the Gansevoort Hotel in Miami Beach. The scent was created by Rene Morganthaler, Master Perfumer at Smart Fragrances, a member of the Scent Marketing Institute.

ScentWorld Expo is a scent and sensory marketing conference where experts present the latest research, strategies and applications of scent and sensory marketing to corporate marketing executives, branding agencies and industry participants, and the top companies showcase their unique scent and sensory marketing solutions. Scent marketing can be an effective marketing strategy that has been shown to boost sales, strengthen brands, improve customer evaluations and enhance customers’ experience and mood, according to The Scent Institute. Scent can also be used by any kind of company in its promotional items, print ads, direct mail and more.

Rolando Aedo, Executive Vice President and CMO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, will be using the scent to promote the area at events, in promotional items and as a personal fragrance. “This fragrance is a great way to express what Miami as a destination is all about,” said Mr. Aedo. “We work hard to sum up the character of Miami and the beaches, and the scent will help support our branding efforts and connect people to our area on an emotional level.”
